Gram's Grahams! So sweet! I'm going to have to tell my cousin about Roaring Fork Mill. They live in Lafayette (I'll have to Google map it to see if it'd even be possible for them to get there)...I have a silly dream of owning a standing KitchenAid, but I don't bake much so I can't justify even buying a $400 one at Costco...I love yours! (Purple's my favorite color too, though I've somehow ended up with a lot of red pieces in my kitchen so red's more my accent for it. But a purple KitchenAid is so cool! I worked as an assistant chef at Sur Le Table for a while, and they had several KitchenAids. The biggest one they called Bertha.
Thanks for spreading the word! Jacob attends several farmer's markets in the summer and the flour is slowly finding it's way to several of the Colorado grocery store chains, as well.
I've been wanting to give my mixer a name but that somehow reflects the color, but so far haven't been able to come up with anything compelling. I love the idea of Big Bertha!
