Thanks Jessica! It was really delicious, especially with my morning cup of tea. I put a few slices in the freezer and look forward to a special treat in the future.

Do you brown butter or burn sugar? I admit that I'm kind of new to both processes and it really does elevate the flavor.

I struggle with baking cakes, since it’s just 2-3 of us at home, and a cake is a big commitment to eat. I have a freezer full of partially-eaten cakes 😂. I tend to bake cookies, muffins, and bars, which freeze better and seem more manageable with the few of us.

No - I don’t often brown butter or burn sugar. Perhaps I’ll find a cookie recipe that uses one (or both) of those techniques!
